Panmuirfield carving

One of the things that I find eternally fascinating about my Public Art projects is the sheer uniqueness of each situation, there isn’t really a ‘typical’ timeline that they all follow, this is especially true of the project I am undertaking for Bett Homes at Orchard Bank in Panmuirfield Village on the outskirts of Dundee. ‘Patience they say is a virtue’ & ‘good things come to those who wait’; two expressions that are particularly apt in this case. Commissioned & designed in 2008 prior to the global economic crash it is only now (2013/2014) finally being realised. Thankfully the clients have retained faith in me & what is now emerging onsite is a project that will transform the entranceway into Orchard Bank.
